Sabena Hijacking - My Version

Through testimonies and reenactments, director Rani Sa'ar tells the story of the hijacking of Sabena Flight 971 in May 1972 by the Palestinian terrorist group Black September. Israeli special forces launched a daring operation to rescue the passengers--who had been separated between Jews and non-Jews--as the hijackers threatened to blow up the plane unless Israel agreed to release Palestinian prisoners. Future Israeli leaders Ehud Barak, Shimon Peres, and Binyamin Netanyahu all featured into the events and provide interviews, as does the sole surviving hijacker.
